Me holding my two new grandsons, Andrew on the left (born 11/4/04) and Addison Korey Freis (born 10/13/04) on the right. In the space of six months, the family lost two members, my mother Catherine Della Sala Ruggiero, who died on August 25, 2004, and Richard's father, Dr. Edward Freis, who died on February 1, 2005. But it also gained these wonderful boys born three weeks apart.

Four Freis cousins and their families.

He collects trains in the Thomas the Tank Engine series, and reads about them and loves to see trains of any kind in motion. Even crossing train tracks while driving is a thrill for him.
