Hobbies

• Sports:  This is my only form of exercise.  I prefer basketball, but can relate glory stories for many sports (e.g., Thanksgiving day football).

• Reading:  Since reading the old fashioned way has become more and more difficult, I have found a new love of audio books.  My mp3 player accompanies me on my walk to and from school.  I've been able to enjoy my mysteries, courtroom dramas, and westerns. 

• My Family:  I consider myself very lucky to be the husband of a wonderful supportive wife, and the father of two beautiful daughters and our boy.  Nikki and I are having a great time, and it is an awesome experience to watch Maddie, Sadie, and Jack grow up.  For up to date info. check out our blog.

• Work:  Not too many people can say they love what they do.  I feel very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to enter academia where I love to be in the classroom and even research (a surprise to me too).  I'm an assistant professor at Millsaps College, and we love it here.
