Course Description
This course emphasizes the application of information systems knowledge to the accounting
environment. Specifically, students are exposed to the analysis, design and evaluation of
accounting information systems with an emphasis on transaction processing and the related
internal accounting controls for the major accounting cycles particularly in the computer
environment.
