Librarians.
A librarian who does not have a good sense of humor is in the
wrong profession (a sense of humor is absolutely vital especially for anyone who works in
a public library--I know it was the only thing that kept me sane!) So I'll start
with the funny stuff, and then the more serious :-/ items will follow.

: Helps us little librarians by supplying a system of classification and subject headings, which for the most part are great, but I sometimes wonder if aliens have infiltrated the LC cataloging office. Their library buildings are to die for, too.OCLC: This stands for Online Computer Library Center. They give us access to a world-wide database of catalog records so catalogers can spend less time figuring out main entries and subject headings and more time plotting world domination (oops! Ignore that last part).
Millsaps-Wilson Library: This is my library, as if you hadn't figured that part out by now. Yes, we all have good senses of humor as well as plain old good sense, another thing librarians need.
